Lead Camp Counselor
Lead Camp Counselors report directly to the Camp Administrator & Director and are responsible & managing the primary supervision of their camp participants. Lead Camp Counselors will be responsible for the daily administration of the Summer Camp Program, including ensuring the well-being and safety of all participants, speaking with parents & SciGenie stakeholders, administering programs and activities, providing daily feedback to the Camp Administrator, filling out paperwork, and maintaining daily logs while maintaining a fun and safe environment for the campers. (Grades 9 – 12) Our SciGenie Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program is for those looking to build youth leadership and facilitation skills. Our program focuses on team bonding and a deepened sense of responsibility in both the day-to-day interactions and overall vibe and camp experience.
Counselor-in-Training cultivate strengths, gain community service hours, access to a network of support in the enrichment field, and lay the foundation for leadership positions in the future.
